Day after Chandrayaan-3 made a successful soft-landing on the lunar surface's south pole, Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, a Hindu seer, urged the government to declare the Moon as a “Hindu Rashtra”. The appeal from the national president of All India Hindu Mahasabha Swami came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the point on the Moon where the Chandrayaan-3 lander Vikram soft-landed will be named ‘Shiv Shakti’ and the spot where the Chandrayaan-2 crash-landed will be called ‘Tiranga’. Sharing a video on X, formerly known as Twitter, Swami Chakrapani Maharaj said the Indian government should “act quickly so that no terrorists can reach the Moon”. “Moon should be declared as Hindu Sanatan Rashtra by Parliament, Shiv Shakti Point should be developed as its capital at the landing place of Chandrayaan-3, so that no terrorist can reach there with Jihadi mentality,” he said.

पीएम मोदी ने घोषणा की कि चंद्रयान-3 के टचडाउन पॉइंट का नाम 'शिव शक्ति' रखा जाएगा और जिस स्थान पर चंद्रयान 2 दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हुआ, उसे 'तिरंगा' कहा जाएगा।

चंद्रयान-3 के चंद्रमा की सतह के दक्षिणी ध्रुव पर सफल सॉफ्ट-लैंडिंग करने के एक दिन बाद, एक हिंदू द्रष्टा स्वामी चक्रपाणि महाराज ने सरकार से चंद्रमा को "हिंदू राष्ट्र" घोषित करने का आग्रह किया।

अखिल भारतीय हिंदू महासभा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष स्वामी की अपील प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की उस घोषणा के बाद आई है जिसमें उन्होंने कहा था कि चंद्रमा पर जिस बिंदु पर चंद्रयान-3 के लैंडर विक्रम की सॉफ्ट लैंडिंग हुई थी उसका नाम 'शिव शक्ति' रखा जाएगा और उस स्थान का नाम जहां चंद्रयान-2 रखा जाएगा।  क्रैश-लैंडेड को 'तिरंगा' कहा जाएगा।

एक्स, जिसे पहले ट्विटर के नाम से जाना जाता था, पर एक वीडियो साझा करते हुए स्वामी चक्रपाणि महाराज ने कहा कि भारत सरकार को "जल्दी कार्रवाई करनी चाहिए ताकि कोई भी आतंकवादी चंद्रमा तक न पहुंच सके"।

उन्होंने कहा, "संसद द्वारा चंद्रमा को हिंदू सनातन राष्ट्र घोषित किया जाना चाहिए, चंद्रयान-3 के लैंडिंग स्थल पर शिव शक्ति प्वाइंट को इसकी राजधानी के रूप में विकसित किया जाना चाहिए, ताकि कोई भी आतंकवादी जिहादी मानसिकता के साथ वहां न पहुंच सके।"
