Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav has expressed his displeasure over seat sharing of Congress Party in Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections.
Congress has not given even a single seat to Samajwadi Party.
Akhilesh Yadav said, "The Congress party should have come clean. My belief is that if you were not to be given a seat, then you should not have talked to the socialists. The first step you should have taken is to talk to your organization and We would have fought according to the party. If those who wanted cooperation had told us, perhaps the Samajwadi Party would have cooperated and remained standing.
He said, "He did not give any information, nor did he consider Samajwadi Party worthy of this. Samajwadi Party is fighting only where our organization and candidates are strong."
On the question of separation from the alliance, Akhilesh Yadav said, "I have come to know after Madhya Pradesh that the India alliance is for the country's elections. When the country's elections come, talks will be held. The question is of credibility. If the Congress behaves like this... If she behaves like that then who will stand with her?"
"There is a big challenge before the country, BJP is a big party. BJP is an organized party. To counter it, there should not be any confusion within any party. If you contest elections with confusion, you will not be able to succeed."
Samajwadi Party has so far announced its candidates for a total of 31 seats in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections.
