Hamas terrorists who burn children release video of Israeli hostage for the first time

Hamas' military wing Al-Qassam Brigades has for the first time released a video of a hostage taken from Israel and kept in Gaza.

This is the first such video of Hamas after the October 7 attack.  Israel says that Hamas has taken 199 people hostage.

In the video, a woman is saying that her name is Maya Shem, she is 21 years old and is from Shoham city of Israel.

He says that he was taken hostage by Hamas from a party in Israel.  He has appealed for his release in the video.

The video also includes footage of the woman being treated for an injury on her hand.

According to a statement, the Israeli military confirmed that Maya was kidnapped by Hamas and that the army is in contact with her family.

The army said in the statement, “At this time we are working on all intelligence information and operational measures for the return of all the hostages.”

A spokesperson for Maya Shem's family has agreed to the photos being shown.
