Israeli army is now targeting it in Gaza

Israeli Army spokesperson Jonathan Conricus has said that now the Israeli Army is targeting the underground network. Israel continues air strikes in Gaza. Conricus says that his fighter planes are targeting the underground network built by Hamas extremists. He said, “After nearly 20 years of control, Hamas has built a network of tunnels in Gaza City that stretches from Khan Yunis in Gaza City to Rafah.” Conricus said that the Gaza Strip needs to be seen in two layers: one layer is for the common people at the ground level and the other layer is for Hamas which is underground. “Now we are trying to capture that second layer that Hamas has created.” He said, “These are not bunkers built for the common people of Gaza to use during Israeli attacks.”
