Rahul Gandhi's troubles may increase once again. Because, a leader of Asaduddin Owaisi's party AIMIM has filed a case against him in the court. This case has been filed against Rahul Gandhi for gifting a dog named Noori to mother Sonia Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi had posted a video gifting this dog on World Animal Day. The petitioner has accused Rahul Gandhi of hurting religious sentiments. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Mohammad Farhan has said in his petition that the name of the dog has hurt his religious sentiments. Because, the word 'Noori' is specifically related to Islam and is also mentioned in the Quran.
The Judicial Magistrate's office has confirmed that the AIMIM leader has approached the court.
