What is the international media saying about the meeting between Joe Biden and Netanyahu?

Amidst the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, US President Joe Biden returned to America after visiting Israel on Wednesday.

In this tour, where he showed the whole world that he stands with Israel, he also showed that he has sympathy for the people of Gaza. According to some reports in the international media, he has also instructed Israel to exercise restraint during the visit.

While heading to the conference room in Tel Aviv, Biden met Israelis affected by the Hamas attack and consoled them with a hug.

Media around the world have prominently covered this important visit amid the ongoing war in Gaza.

In a report, The New York Times writes, "Biden had reached Tel Aviv to embrace all of Israel in a way and say that America shares in their suffering. But during this he also gave a mild warning."

Addressing Israeli citizens, Biden gestured, "You cannot remain silent after seeing what happened to your parents, grandparents, children and even infants. But let your anger prevail." Don't let that happen. After 9/11, we were angry. We wanted justice and we got it. But we also made mistakes."

'The other team' attacked- Biden

US President Joe Biden said that Israel may not be responsible for the blast on Gaza hospital.

Arab News wrote that during a meeting on Wednesday, Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, "Based on what I have seen, it appears that it was not you who did this, but another team."

Biden has said that there are many people who do not know what caused the blast.

According to Gaza's Health Ministry, "471 people have lost their lives in an explosion at a hospital there."

Israel has denied any involvement in the blast, saying that another group, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, had mistakenly fired a rocket at the hospital.

Promising to provide all possible help to defend Israel, Biden said that "Hamas is worse than Daesh (Islamic State)."

He said that apart from 1300 Israelis, 31 Americans were also killed in the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7.

The Washington Post reported that Biden expressed sympathy for the people of Gaza, and also supported Israel's claim regarding the attack.

According to the South China Morning Post, Biden began his Israel tour by showing the world that America stands with the Jews.

The US President said that he used the term 'second team' on the basis of information shown by the US Defense Ministry.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by US National Security Council spokeswoman Adrian Watson, it was said that "America has reached this conclusion on the basis of information, intelligence, missile activities, satellite images and video of the incident, etc.  "

He said intelligence indicated that some Palestinian fighters also believed the blast was caused by a rocket or missile fired by an extremist group.

Joe Biden can talk more about the explosion in Gaza hospital on Thursday night. The White House has said that at 8 pm American time, Biden will also talk about Russia's war with Ukraine and Hamas' attack on Israel.

Retweeting a news from Reuters, the newspaper writes, "America has once again placed itself in the camp against civilized society and humanity. It is a matter of shame that it has refused to save many lives."

The newspaper further wrote sarcastically, "Will the end result of 'hard diplomacy' be that it will lead to more bombings and more deaths? The question is whether it really wants to solve this problem effectively.  "

Reuters had reported that America has vetoed the resolution in the United Nations Security Council regarding a ceasefire to deliver humanitarian aid. The US says the council should wait for the results of 'hard-earned diplomacy'.

Iran threatened to take revenge

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has warned of strong revenge by Islamic countries for "crimes committed in Palestine and Gaza."

"The end of the Jews (Israel) will begin with the attack on the hospital," Raisi said, addressing thousands of people gathered in the Iranian capital Tehran in support of the Palestinians, according to Al Arabiya.

He said that "each drop of Palestinian blood will bring the Jewish regime closer to its collapse."

According to Saudi Gazette, Saudi Arabia's embassy in Lebanon said that it is monitoring the ongoing activities in the southern part of Lebanon.

The embassy has instructed Saudi citizens to follow the travel ban and leave Lebanon immediately.

Saudi citizens present in Lebanon have been asked to remain alert and avoid going to crowded or protest areas until they leave Lebanon.
